Pasquino Balcony

On the fourth floor of a lift-served building in Rione Parione, a few steps from Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and the Vatican. Recently renovated and furnished to be lived in rather than looked at, with air conditioning in every room and free Wi-Fi throughout.

The balcony is what people remember: it looks onto Piazza di Pasquino, the small square that has hosted Rome's talking statue — and its anonymous complaints against power — since the sixteenth century. Breakfast there and you are inside a piece of the city's history that most visitors walk past.
