The building is a sixteenth-century palazzo in Rione Parione, once the residence of Pope Alexander VI Borgia, protected by the Ministry of Culture and still carrying Renaissance frescoes on its façades. The apartment is on the third floor, reached by the original period staircase — there is no lift, and that staircase is part of what you are staying in.

Inside, the renovation kept what deserved keeping: the antique marble fireplace, the restored wooden parquet, the old windows. Around them, an elegant, modern apartment with air conditioning in every room and fast Wi-Fi.
